Hands-on test platform implementation

Build a Playwright and TypeScript test framework your teams can own

Get a working, maintainable foundation—not just an architecture slide deck or a one-off demo suite.

Discuss your project

A bounded implementation engagement

  1. Discovery call

    Check fit and access

Discuss applications, team ownership, CI, security constraints and the result you need. Confirm which systems can be inspected before proposing paid work.

  2. Written proposal

    Scope a pilot and price

Agree on a representative flow, deliverables, milestones, access boundaries, handover and fee. A full enterprise rollout is not hidden inside a pilot price.

  3. Build and transfer

    Prove it in your workflow

Implement in an approved environment, run in CI, review real failure evidence and transfer the operating model to your engineers.

A framework is more than a test runner

We implement a scoped Playwright and TypeScript foundation with your engineers, in your approved repositories and environments. The goal is a repeatable way to add tests, understand failures, and operate the suite after handover.

An early proof of concept often works for one application but breaks down across teams: duplicated fixtures, shared credentials, unstable test data, opaque CI failures and unclear ownership. We decide what should be shared, what should stay separate, and build a representative vertical slice before scaling.

What is delivered

An operable repository structure

A documented choice of one repository, separate repositories, or a hybrid. Establish TypeScript conventions, Playwright projects, fixtures, authentication boundaries and reusable helpers without a premature shared framework.

A proven test slice

Implement representative business-critical flows with stable locators, isolated test data, useful assertions and review standards. Agree on what belongs in API, component or browser tests.

CI evidence the team can use

Connect the suite to your CI/CD platform with appropriate runners, browser dependencies, reports, traces, artifacts and failure ownership. Quality-gate thresholds are agreed rather than guessed.

How we build it

  1. Assess the applications and constraints

Review current repositories, environments, release cadence, access rules, existing test cases and CI. Select a representative pilot and define acceptance criteria.

  2. Implement the foundation

Build configuration, fixtures, data strategy, first tests and CI integration in approved systems. Pair with your team and review the results in actual runs.

  3. Handover and next-step backlog

Document decisions, runbooks and ownership; coach maintainers through adding and debugging tests. Prioritize the next application or suite instead of promising a big-bang rollout.

Best suited for

  • Organizations starting Playwright across several applications or teams
  • QA architects replacing a fragile proof of concept with owned standards
  • Platform teams that need reliable browser-test evidence in existing CI/CD

Playwright framework setup: decisions before implementation

Do you build the framework or only advise our team?

We can implement the scoped Playwright and TypeScript foundation hands-on in approved repositories, or pair with your engineers. The proposal specifies what we build, what your team owns, review points and handover artifacts.

One shared Playwright project or separate projects for several applications?

We decide from ownership, release cadence, authentication, environments and test data. A shared repository can reduce duplication, but separate projects or a hybrid may keep failures and access boundaries clearer. We document the trade-off before building.

Which CI/CD systems can you integrate?

The implementation is not tied to Azure DevOps. We can scope Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, Azure Pipelines, Bitbucket Pipelines or another CI system with suitable runners, permissions and artifact support. We verify the platform's actual capabilities before promising a specific integration.

Can the framework link to our test-case management system or use AI?

Potentially. We first check the API or approved export, read permissions, data classification and organizational AI rules for tools such as Azure Test Plans, Jira-based test management or TestRail. AI may suggest tests from authorized cases; engineers validate assertions and approve code. This integration is separately scoped, not assumed in the base setup.

How is a framework build priced and can it run in a regulated environment?

We price a defined assessment or pilot by agreed deliverables and milestones, then quote rollout or ongoing mentoring separately. Work on sensitive systems depends on your security approvals, least-privilege access, approved data and environment; we do not claim an unverified healthcare certification or client reference.
